Our sweet + simple Valentine’s Day.

We had a super simple Valentine’s Day with the girls. I picked up some balloons and cupcakes (+ a pupcake for Charlie!) before the girls came home from school. I love decorating with balloons because they make such a big impact. Daddy brought flowers for everyone and then grilled a yummy steak dinner. We loved having the entire family home. After dinner, the girls went through their candy and cards from the school party. I absolutely loved spending Valentine’s Day at home!

Natural Protection with Pampers Pure

Finding diapers that are best for my baby used to mean compromise. I’m so excited to partner with Pampers Pure and share these diapers that are designed to give parents another option who don’t want to sacrifice performance when compared to natural diapers and wipes. Each size option of Pampers Pure Protection diapers also feature different stylish and prints for your little one.

Don’t forget about the wipes! Pampers Aqua Pure wipes are designed to give moms the highest water content wipe while still delivering outstanding skin protection. Pampers Aqua Pure wipes feature carefully selected ingredients, including 99% pure water with a touch of premium cotton.

I’ve tried many other diaper brands to ensure I was making the right choice and nothing held up to the quality of Pampers. The leakage protection is unmet, and they are soft enough to touch my baby’s delicate skin 24/7.

I love that I now have the option to choose a diaper for my baby without having to compromise. You can pick up your own Pampers Pure diapers at Meijer, click here to find a store near you!

Fall Family Photos at the Pumpkin Patch

Family photos as a party of five is pretty chaotic. I wanted to do them when it was still warm out for a better chance at everyone being happy 😉 Since the fall colors were far from turning, we met my friend Kacey Photography at our favorite local pumpkin patch. It ended up being the best backdrop and I think this just became a new family tradition. I’ll list where each outfit is from because I know I’ll get questions, but the only one in stock is my jumpsuit.. and it’s amazing! I’m wearing Oatmeal.

Harlow is currently 18 months and in my absolute favorite stage, between 1 + 2. She gets more independent everyday. She’s definitely the baby of the family and gives the best cuddles. She is currently loving Minnie Mouse, milk, tutus and anything Stella has.

Stella is 3 (almost 3.5!) and LOVES life. She is currently obsessed with preschool, her daddy, rainbows, and babies. She has the best patience for Harlow and looks up to Chloe. Her romper is from this season Zara, but currently sold out.

Chloe is 12 and in 7th grade, and a social butterfly. She’s always on the go, sporting events, hanging with friends and being active. She loves her little sisters but always enjoys breaks from them 😉 Her dress is older season Rylee and Cru.

Happy Halloween! // Blush Costume Party

Halloween has always been a favorite holiday, but I love it even more being a mom. The magical spookiness that lingers all of October is the perfect way to transition into fall + the holidays. This year, my husband worked on Halloween, so I wanted a way to celebrate with him home. We decided to have our very first costume party! Being a girl mom with two toddlers, I wanted to create a spooky but happy/whimsical feel. I found some inspiration through Lauren Conrad‘s recent party, and because we believe in all things pink for every holiday this was perfect.

For this balloon garland, I purchased 5″ and 11″ blush/nude + coral solid balloons from Etsy. The star, moon and ghost face balloons are all Meri Meri. I tied all of the solid balloons to a single string, and then hung with command hooks. I used tacky glue dots to stick the other balloons to the wall and garland itself. I recommend creating your balloon garland no sooner than the night before your event to ensure it’s full!

All of the paper products are from Meri Meri, my favorite go-to for party supplies. The spider web table runner was a great Target dollar spot find. My purple stemless wine glasses are from Home Goods, the candlestick holder and macrame table runner is from Anthropologie.

This bar cart c/o Anthropologie is the most fun to decorate! I found Halloween inspired bottles of wine + liquor from World Market. I spray painted styrofoam tombstones pink, it’s definitely not a party unless SOMETHING is spray painted 😉 Tinsel stir sticks from Etsy, left over balloons from the garland in the bottom and fresh florals on top!

Easy + festive is my favorite, and these treats didn’t disappoint! For the ghosts, I cut Milano cookies with a scalloped vegetable knife, and then dipped them in melted white chocolate. You’ll want to be sure to let the white chocolate cool a bit first so it doesn’t melt the inside of the cookie. I used black royal icing for the face. For the donuts, I used strawberry Hostess mini donuts decorated with black royal icing.

Mummy pretzels stick are pretzel rods dipped into melted white chocolate, I used these dipping containers from Wilton and they made it so easy. I pressed eyes into the chocolate and then let them cool. I then drizzled more white chocolate for the mummy effect.

We opted out of a family costume, and just paired up for some favorite characters. My cat suit, ears + mask and Randy’s batman shirt (runs big) are from Amazon.

Chloe and her friend made Winnie the Pooh costumes, Piglet showed up later! Tutus and tees are from Amazon.

Stella requested Cinderella, and Harlow made the cutest Gus Gus. Their tutus are c/o Plum, Stella’s peplum top is c/o June & January, her headband is Wunderkin Co. and choker is from Etsy. Harlow’s tee is from Amazon and Gus Gus ears are c/o The Wishing Elephant.

Hope you + your family had the most magical Halloween!

DIY Sink + Water Table

This project has been on our to-do list for almost a year, and I’m so excited it’s finally complete! We renovated our kitchen, so we removed our old sink. When I found this DIY on Pinterest to upcycle the sink into a sand and water table, I couldn’t wait to try it!

My husband is super handy, and was able to whip this up during nap time and then I took a few cans of white Rustoleum spray paint and gave it 3 coats. Some play sand from Lowes and these adorable sand and water toys to finish it off – and the girls love it! I purchased plastic tubs to keep at the bottom to store their toys when they aren’t playing with it. To cover it at night, I currently use a clear vinyl shower curtain. The girls’ adorable suits are from Olivia and Ocean.

Stella is three!

We celebrated Stella Kate’s birthday with all things rainbow + unicorn. She had so much excitement leading up to her party, it was fun watching her experience it all. We celebrated her actual birthday a few days later with a birthday breakfast and family day.

We love you Stella Kate!
